A number of sewerage
projects are completed or underway
Drainage network
and trunk sewer of 39 sq. kms.
area containing Vejalpur, Jodhpur,
Bodakdev, Vastrapur, Memnagar,
Thaltej, Ghatlodia, Gota, Niranaynagar
& Ranip are virtually complete
Drainage network and trunk sewer
along Sarkhej-Gandhinagar Highway
to Sardar Patel Ring Road (R-2 &
R-3) has been designed.The work
is in progress.
For East Ahmedabad, network and
trunk sewer along 60m ring road
has been designed.
A new 150mld sewage treatment
plant which serves AUDA areas has
been constructed and is being managed
by AMC.
Water supply projects: AUDA has prepared an overall
project plan of Approx. 206 Crore Rs.
to get water from the Narmada Canal
at Jaspur.
First Phase of Rs. 106 crores:
Approx. 100 Kms of main line work from
Canal to the head works of each village
site has been completed. A Model treatment
plant has been completed.
